- Will learn how computing devices work together in a network
- A computing device is a physical artifact that can run a program. Ex: computer, tablet, servers, routers, smart sensors
- A computing system is a group of computing devices and programs working together
- A computer network is a type of computing system and is a group of computing devices that send/receive data
- Path between computing devices on a network is a sequence of directly connected computing devices that begins at sender, ends at receiver
- Routing is the process of finding that path
- Bandwidth is the maximum amount of data that can be sent in a fixed amount of time on a computer network (bits per second)
